There’s a shortlist of artists that are bound to be featured here and finally, the timing has worked out that will allow one of them at the top of said list to receive some coverage during NMS.

The name is Deaux, Jean Deaux. Chances are, when you’re thinking about the ideal R&B singer-songwriter, you’re thinking of her – you just don’t know it. She knows a jammin’ track when she hears it. She knows how to make it hers and exactly what to say on it. And she’s been moving like this for YEARS. If “Say Yeah” is your introduction to Deaux, there’s much to be brought up to speed on.

She’s not one to be put in a box, but she is an R&B artist. So, seductive and smooth is a justifiably frequent vibe to visit, but when Deaux does it, she makes it hard to recall anything smoother.
