NMS: D’Asia Simone – IOU

One thing that’s obvious and easily observable about D’Asia is that she does not expect to gain fans of her music just because she makes music. She’s offering those that encounter work an entire experience. You know, what an artist should do when they really want to build an audience. Her latest release, a project entitled IOU, takes form not in just audio format. There’s a visual component. It’s a project that comes with an art gallery and it looks how it sounds and sounds how it looks.
The lead single from the project does not fail to demonstrate what the project represents. It’s smooth, relaxing at the same time stimulates some excitement. A bubbly synth chord progression on top of some minimal drum and bass style rhythm really creates a signature sound when D’Asia interweaves her vocals in between it all. She doesn’t seem like the type to copy.
